Survey Participation: International survey developed by the Multilingual Aphasia Practice Group

We would like to share with you an international survey developed by the Multilingual Aphasia Practice Group (Working group 2: Aphasia Assessment and Outcomes), which is part of the international network Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists (https://www.aphasiatrials.org/). The research work conducted by this group is focused on a variety of issues regarding multilingualism and aphasia.

The survey is available here:

The MAP survey is designed to gain a better understanding of the experiences and challenges of speech and language therapists/pathologists in providing clinical services (e.g., assessment and treatment) to individuals who speak more than one language. It will help gain valuable insights into making recommendations to clinicians on multilingual aphasia practices worldwide and how best to serve multilingual clients with aphasia and their families.

The responses will be kept confidential, and the network group thank you for your time in helping them understand this issue better. This is an international survey available in several languages since they seek to obtain as many survey participants as possible to increase representation across a variety of countries and cultures.

Please feel free to forward this invitation to any other speech and language therapist/pathologist who works with people with aphasia and might be interested in participating in our survey.

If you have any questions about the survey, please feel free to reach out to us at catswg2@univ-cotedazur.fr.
