Short Research Survey - working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD*) communities across Ireland

Do Speech & Language Therapists feel confident and equipped to work clinically with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities in Ireland?

We are surveying current SLT practice in relation to working with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD*) communities across Ireland. There is a lack of data about the ways in which SLT deliver “culturally responsive practice” to people from CALD communities and the ways in which SLT are supported to do this, for example through cultural competence training and access to a wider inter-disciplinary team, including interpreters.

The responses will help us to understand current practice and how best to equip SLTs in working with CALD communities.

SLT working in Ireland are welcome to take part. Participation should take no more than 10 minutes and all responses are anonymous with no identifying features.
