I am a student member of the IASLT and a final year student in Clinical Speech and Language Studies in Trinity College Dublin.
As part of my final year studies in Trinity, I am undertaking a research project titled "Supporting Children With Dysarthria Secondary To Acquired Brain Injury: Views and Reported Practices Of SLTs In The Republic Of Ireland" under Teaching Fellow Amy Rennie.
The aim of the research is to explore how Irish SLTs support children with dysarthria following an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) in Ireland and to investigate their perspectives and reported practices in working with these patients.
