My name is Rebecca Carey and I am studying Clinical Speech and Language Studies in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.

As part of my undergraduate degree, I must complete a research project. My research project is; “The lived experiences of adults with developmental language disorder”.

I am aiming to gain insight of the lived experiences of adults with developmental language disorder, through semi-structured interviews. One interview would be conducted with each participant and the participants will be asked questions on how their DLD affects the following areas; education, employment, relationships, how they spend their spare time, and their strengths. 

I have attached a copy of the participant information leaflet, which contains more information about the research project, and consent form.

I am aiming to interview between 8-10 adults with DLD.

I would appreciate it if you could share this information with the group members. I would also appreciate it if you could share the details of my research project so as to create a snowball effect and reach as many people as possible.
