About the Speakers:

Jane Peterson, Director of Training and Services, Knowledge Oral Health
Care.
Jane qualified as a Dental Hygienist from the Eastman Dental Hospital in 1995,
and has worked in general and specialist dental practices in London and the south
coast of England. Jane founded Knowledge Oral Health Care in 2015. Jane is
passionate about oral health and she now dedicates a majority of her time to
training care staff and Healthcare Professionals about best practice in oral
healthcare.

Dr Caoimhin (Kev) Mac Giolla Phadraig B. A., B. Dent. Sc. (TCD), MFDS (RCSI), D Dent
Ch (Special Care Dentistry, TCD), PhD (TCD).
Kev graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2002. His early practice and community
dental service sparked his interest in equality and dentistry for people with disabilities.
He completed specialist training in Special Care Dentistry (D. Ch. Dent.) in Trinity
College Dublin, graduating with first class honours in 2010. Since then he has been a
Lecturer in Public Dental Health (Disability Studies), in the School of Dental Science,
Trinity College Dublin.
Kev is the lead of the www.Brushmyteeth.ie project, a co-designed project that aims to
improve oral hygiene through theory-based interventions.
