Getting ready for commencement of the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015 Tuesday 21st March 2023 12:30pm – 2:00pm

This webinar is aimed all HSE staff and will focus on practical considerations for commencement of the Assisted Decision-Making Capacity Act 2015 including information about the Decision Support Service (e.g. how to interact with the DSS, Codes of Practice, DSS Register), wardship transition, Decision-Making Representative applications and other key issues.

The objectives of the webinar are to:

  • Stimulate discussion about practical implementation of the 2015 Act
  • Provide guidance to services and practitioners
  • Support staff development and learning.

The event will be chaired by Professor Mary Donnelly, School of Law, University College Cork.
