This webinar launched the Irish Message Banking Toolkit, a joint project completed by Beaumont Hospital, CRC and TCD. Therapists get an opportunity to explore the resources within the toolkit, and access support on how to use the kit with clients. It will support therapists to facilitate clients to decision make around message banking, and provides tools to help with the process. It is aimed at therapists who work with clients with progressive communication issues, or clients who may temporarily require AAC as a support. This webinar is presented on behalf of the project group by: Ciara Fitzsimons, Senior Speech and Language Therapist from the ATSS Team in Central Remedial Clinic, and Lesley Doyle, Clinical Specialist in Neurology, Beaumont SLT Team
