Join us on Thursday, 5th September from 6pm-7pm for a capacity building webinar on the Mental Health Bill 2024. In this 1 hour session, a panel will discuss the proposed key changes in the legislation and what they will mean for people accessing mental health services in the future.

The new Mental Health Bill 2024 will replace the Mental Health Act, 2001 which governs the rights of people who are admitted and treated in an in-patient facility for mental health care.

The session will be an opportunity for the public to learn more about the Mental Health Bill 2024.

ISL will be provided for this webinar.

Panelists include:
- Dr Charles O'Mahony, Lecturer, School of Law, University of Galway
- Michael Ryan, Head of Mental Health Engagement and Recovery, Mental Health Operations, HSE.
- Ber Grogan, Policy & Research Manager, Mental Health Reform
