Edel graduated with a BSc. in Clinical Speech and Language Studies from Trinity College, Dublin in 2001 and has worked primarily with adult populations across acute, community and residential services. Edel obtained a Masters in Healthcare Management from RCSI in 2010.
Emma graduated with a BSc. in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Ulster in 2001. Emma’s clinical experience has been focused in adult acute and rehabilitation settings. Emma has experience in service management having worked as an SLT Manager. Throughout her career Emma has been committed to patient centered high quality service provision. She obtained her MSc in Clinical Speech and Language Therapies Studies in 2008 from TCD, and completed the HSE RCSI Future Leaders Programme in 2017.
Caroline graduated with Honours MSc. in Speech and Language Therapy (professional qualification) from University of Limerick in 2013, and has worked in various paediatric settings including primary care, CAMHS, and privately. Caroline is committed to supporting the provision of timely, evidence-based, accessible CPD opportunities for the profession, as part of her role with the IASLT.
Jan has been IASLT Administration Officer for many years and is committed to supporting all IASLT Members, Council and Committees. She enjoys the dynamic and busy aspect of her work along with the daily interaction with members.
Kathleen has worked in busy public and private sector environments throughout her career, she enjoys the busy and varied nature of her role at IASLT. Kathleen has previously worked in HR where she was predominantly involved in learning and development, this is an area in which Kathleen has a keen interest.

Áine Lawlor is a Speech and Language Therapy Manager for Primary Care HSE services in Dublin South City. She graduated with a BSc in Clinical Speech and Language Studies from Trinity College Dublin.
Clare Meskill is a Speech and Language Therapist who graduated with a BSc in Speech and Language Therapy from University College Cork (UCC). Clare is the founder of Teleatherapy, a MedTech company that provides remote voice therapy for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
Siobhan McCullough is a senior Speech and Language Therapist working in LauraLynn Ireland’s Children’s Hospice in paediatric palliative care and paediatric disabilities. Siobhan previously worked in CAMHS services in North Dublin and disability services in Dublin, Waterford, Kilkenny, and Kildare.
Shane is a Pi-shaped marketer with nearly two decades of experience in highly regulated global markets delivering brand engagement across television, mobile, web and gaming platforms for top tier companies like Paddy Power and BetVictor.
Nicola Hart qualified as a Speech and Language therapist in 1992, studying in Leicester, UK. She has lived in Ireland since 1994, and has spent most of her career working with people who have intellectual disabilities.
Sinead has a degree in English and History from National University of Ireland, Maynooth, a higher diploma in Linguistics from University College Dublin and a Msc. In Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Essex. Sinead has over ten years’ experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist within the children’s disability sector. She is currently the Clinical Director of Therapy Services at ChildVision.
Michelle Quinn is a Senior Speech and Language Therapist and coordinator of the Chit Chat SLT service as part of the Area Based Childhood Programme in Dublin South West. She graduated with a MSc in Speech and Language Therapy (Professional Qualification) from the University of Limerick in 2010. Michelle also holds a BA in Linguistic and Sociology from University College Dublin and a PG Dip in Child Language and Communication from the University of Sheffield.
IASLT is an organisation run by its members for its members, which despite its size maintains a high profile nationally and internationally. Being a member means that you are part of the Community of speech and language therapists in Ireland. It allows you to keep in contact with professional issues which influence your practice
