This practical course offers an overview of oral language comprehension enhancement. Three different areas, on which the intervention can focus, will be discussed together with two approaches that can be used in the intervention. In addition, individual therapy techniques as well as the strength of evidence and efficacy of each technique are addressed.

The course is given by Sirpa Tarvainen, a PhD candidate at the University of Helsinki, Finland. It is based on her research and clinical experience as an SLT.
