Webinar Series - Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015: From legislation to practice

The HSE National Office for Human Rights and Equality Policy are delighted to announce the launch of their 2026 webinar series – Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015: From legislation to practice.

The webinar series will look at some of the key areas of the 2015 Act and examine what they have meant for practice since the commencement of the 2015 Act. Over the course of the webinar series, subject matter experts, practitioners and people who use our services will discuss topics including decision-making representation orders, enduring powers of attorney and advance healthcare directives.

The webinar series is primarily aimed at staff working in health and social care services. Staff should already be familiar with the 2015 Act.

Webinar 2 – Update on Discharge from Wardship

Tuesday 24th February 2026 @ 130pm – 3pm

The objective of this webinar is to provide an update to health and social care professionals on the wardship discharge process.  

Speakers include:
