What a conference!
As we reflect on IASLT Conference 2026 – Inspiring Connections, Advancing Together, one thing stands out above all else: the incredible energy that comes from coming together. After months of planning and anticipation, it was wonderful to welcome colleagues, friends, students, researchers and clinicians from across Ireland and beyond to learn, share and connect.
From the moment delegates arrived, the buzz throughout the venue was palpable. There was a genuine sense of excitement and enthusiasm as attendees engaged in discussions, explored new ideas, shared experiences and celebrated the work taking place across the profession. The conference truly embodied its theme, showcasing the power of connection and collaboration in advancing speech and language therapy practice, research and education.
The success of IASLT Conference 2026 was made possible through the collective efforts of many people, and we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed.
To the conference committee, thank you for your vision, dedication and countless hours of work behind the scenes. Your commitment ensured a seamless and engaging experience for all involved.
Thank you to our oral presenters and poster presenters, who generously shared their knowledge, research, innovations and clinical experiences. We are equally grateful to our reviewers, whose expertise helped ensure the high quality of the conference programme.
Thank you also to our board members, student volunteers and session chairs, whose enthusiasm, professionalism and support helped everything run smoothly from start to finish.
A sincere thank you goes to our exhibitors and supporters, whose partnership and engagement enriched the conference experience and helped create a vibrant and welcoming event.
Most importantly, thank you to all delegates for bringing such a great energy to the conference. The atmosphere throughout the event was a powerful reminder of the strength of the SLT community and the value of coming together to #inspireconnections and #advancetogether.
If you haven't already done so, there is still time to submit your feedback through the conference app. Your comments and suggestions are invaluable in helping us shape future IASLT conferences and events.
Conference resources remain available through both the conference app and the desktop ExOrdo platform, allowing delegates to revisit presentations, explore posters and access conference materials after the event. Certificates of attendance are now available to download from the IASLT website.
Warm Regards,
