The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI) is inviting applications for Cohort 2 of the Advancing Leadership for Integrated Care Excellence (ALICE) programme — a fully funded by the National HSCP Office, team-based quality improvement (QI) and leadership initiative for health and social care professionals. 

Following a highly successful first cohort, ALICE offers teams the skills, support and structured learning needed to deliver impactful, sustainable improvements in integrated care. Over a 7-month blended learning journey, your team will: 

  • Lead a workplace-based QI project aligned to service priorities 
  • Build leadership capability and apply proven QI tools 
  • Engage with patients and stakeholders to shape meaningful change 
  • Share learning and celebrate success with peers nationwide 

Who can apply? 

Teams of three from the same or related HSE/HSE-funded care setting, with at least two HSCPs (from the recognised professions in the National HSCP Office list) and a third member from HSCP, nursing, medical, management, or another relevant role. 

Key details: 

  • Programme dates:Dec 2025 – Jun 2026 (optional follow-on support: Sept 2026 – May 2027) 
  • Format:Blended (3 in-person, 2 virtual sessions + 2 coaching sessions) 
  • CPD:28 credits (plus 12 additional credits for follow-on) 
  • Funding:Fully funded by the HSE National HSCP Office 
  • Application deadline:Midnight, 24 October 2025 (late applications not accepted)
