Student Membership: Cost: €20

Student members must be studying for a professional qualification in speech and language therapy in Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.

Validation is not required as a student member.

For those who qualify outside of the Republic of Ireland, validation is required before transfer to all other membership categories except International Affiliate Membership.

The membership year starts from the date of joining and renewal is due 12 months after this date.

Where to from here?

When you graduate, you may apply, as appropriate, for one of the following new graduate membership categories:

• New Graduate Membership: if working as an SLT within ROI.
• New Graduate Practising Overseas: if working as an SLT outside ROI – supervision required by IASLT full member. 
• Non-Practising New Graduate Membership: if not working.
