Developing a core outcome set for intervention studies in post stroke cognitive impairment (COS-PSCI): a protocol

  My name is Sinead Purcell. I am currently undertaking a PhD in the School of Allied Health at the University of Limerick under the supervision of Prof Sara Hayes, Dr Katie Robinson and Dr Jon Salberg. Dr Margaret O'Connor is also part of the research team.

I am getting in touch to introduce my research and to ask for your support with participant recruitment.

My PhD focuses on developing a Core Outcome Set for Post-Stroke Cognitive Impairment (COS-PSCI). The aim is to reach consensus among people with stroke, family members/support persons, and healthcare professionals on the key outcomes that should be measured in future research relating to post-stroke cognitive impairment. 

I'd be very grateful if you could help in two ways:

• Share the attached posters with your IASLT members.
• Ask members to also share the study with their teams, special interest groups and people on their caseloads who've had a stroke, and/or their family members/carers.

Focus groups and interviews are running through September and October, in person, online, or by phone.
