The purpose of the survey is to identify and describe the clinical activity that SLTs engage in with babies under 1 in CDNTs.  Babies under 1 are considered to include babies of a chronological age of 12 months OR a corrected age of 12 months.  In keeping with IASLT Standards document (2026) the term 'Eating, Drinking and Swallowing' (EDS) is used.  This is used as an equivalent term in place of 'Feeding Eating Drinking and Swallowing' (FEDS).

This survey results may:

• inform SLT inputs to care pathways for babies under 1 as part of the interdisciplinary team in CDNTs.  
• be shared as part of oral presentation/poster presentation/online webinar/journal article
• identify any trends in SLT supports to babies under 1
• provide information on the status of Basic Dysphagia training in CDNTs nationally.  

The survey will take 5-7 minutes to complete.  This survey is only intended for SLTs working in CDNTs.  It includes some questions in relation to the interdisciplinary roles.  You can discontinue your survey at any time if you wish to do so.  The survey is anonymous.
