Research survey: Cancer literacy among marginalised and disadvantaged populations

My name is Sophia Black and I’m getting in touch on behalf of the health research team at TASC (Think-tank for Action on Social Change), to let you know about a study we are currently carrying out which may be of interest to your organisation and staff.

The study explores breast, cervical, endometrial, and ovarian cancer literacy among marginalised and disadvantaged populations in Ireland. As part of this, we have launched a survey aimed at:

  • Frontline staff in organisations providing cancer support services
  • Frontline staff in organisations providing support to disadvantaged and marginalised populations
  • Healthcare workers

The survey asks about healthcare and frontline workers’ perspectives on cancer literacy among the populations they have worked with, including the factors that influence it and what can be done to enhance it. The survey closes on the 1st of December.

The survey is completely anonymous and should take up to 25 minutes to complete. It can be found at this link (https://form.jotform.com/252781882925369).

If you have any questions or concerns about the survey, please feel free to get in touch!
