Student Membership

Students studying for a professional qualification in speech and language therapy in Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.

Provisional Membership

For SLTs who haven't practiced for more than 2 years and wish to follow the return to full membership process. On successful completion, provisional members may transfer to the appropriate membership.

Non-Practicing and Retired Memberships

Qualified members who are no longer practicing.

New Graduate

For newly graduated SLTs whose qualifications are recognised by the IASLT and are registered with CORU.

Non Practicing New Graduates

For non-practicing newly graduated SLTs whose qualifications are recognised by the IASLT and are registered with CORU.

New Graduates Practicing Overseas

For newly graduated SLTs , practicing overseas, whose qualifications are recognised by the IASLT and are eligible to register with CORU.

Members with Honours and Full Members with Honours

Retired and practicing members who have been awarded lifetime membership for their outstanding contribution to the profession.

Full Membership

For all qualified SLTs, who are registered with CORU.

Full Membership, Practicing Overseas

Applies to members whose qualifications were validated by CORU, and are currently practising outside the Republic of Ireland.

International Affiliate and Practising Overseas Memberships

Applies to those who have qualified overseas, and have not had their qualifications validated by CORU, and are practising outside the Republic of Ireland.
